MiraPlay is a prepaid streaming subscription for Canadian households. Instead of a coaxial cable and a rented receiver, television arrives over your existing internet connection and plays through the IBO Player application on a screen you already own. You receive a set of credentials, register them once, and 26,400+ live channels plus a 168,000-title on-demand library appear in a single grid.
Around ten minutes in normal conditions. Payment clears, our system provisions the account, and an email arrives with your Xtream username, password, server host and playlist link. During exceptional peaks — a championship final, a holiday weekend — allow up to two hours. Check the promotions and spam folders before assuming something went wrong.
Never. Every plan is prepaid for a fixed term and we do not retain your card details. When the term expires the service simply stops. If you want to continue, you place a new order deliberately. There is no cancellation process to navigate and no surprise charge to dispute.
Not on one subscription. MiraPlay authorises a single device at a time. You can install IBO Player on the living-room television, the tablet and a laptop and sign in from whichever you are using, but two simultaneous streams need two subscriptions. This is why our pricing is what it is.
IBO Player, and nothing else. The application itself is sold by its own developer for a small one-time licence after a short evaluation window — a few dollars, paid directly to them. That fee has nothing to do with your MiraPlay subscription and we receive none of it. Our setup guide covers installation and licensing on every platform.
For HD viewing, roughly 25 Mbps is comfortable. For 4K and fast sport, aim for 45 to 60 Mbps. Raw speed matters less than stability: a wired Ethernet link to the television removes more buffering complaints than any other single change, which is why it is the first thing our agents ask about.
Samsung and LG smart televisions running their own operating systems, Android TV and Google TV sets, Amazon Fire TV sticks and cubes, Android boxes, Apple TV hardware, iOS and Android phones and tablets, and Windows or macOS computers. If it runs IBO Player and reaches the internet, it works.
Yes. Your account is tied to credentials rather than to a postal code, so it travels. Snowbirds wintering in the southern United States, students studying in Europe and anyone on a long work posting keep the same grid and the same guide. A stable connection at the far end is the only requirement.
Across the on-demand library, English and French subtitle tracks are carried wherever the source material provides them. Coverage is strongest on recent releases and major series, and thinner on older or regional titles. Subtitle availability on live channels depends entirely on the broadcaster.
Our content team adds titles nightly rather than batching them into a monthly update. New cinema releases, incoming series episodes and refreshed box sets appear continuously, which is why the catalogue sits north of 168,000 entries and keeps climbing.
Report it from the contact page with the channel name and the time you noticed. Most outages are upstream and resolve within minutes. If an issue affecting your account persists beyond 72 consecutive hours, our refund policy sets out the pro-rata credit you may be entitled to.
New accounts get in cheapest through the intro month at CA$10.99. From there the ladder runs CA$15.99 for a single month, then CA$24.99 across a quarter, CA$39.99 across half a year, and CA$69.99 for the full twelve — the last of those landing at CA$5.83 per month. Library and support are identical at every rung; only the effective rate moves. Full detail sits on the plans page.
No hidden charges from us. The price shown on the plans page is the total: no activation fee, no equipment rental, no regional surcharge and no per-screen add-on. The only separate cost anywhere in the chain is the small IBO Player licence paid to the app developer.
We do. If you already look after several customers or want to build a subscription business of your own, our panel handles credit allocation and account creation in bulk. The reseller page explains the tiers and how to apply.
